Background & Expertise

Josh grew up in Central Illinois and is a graduate of the University of Illinois law school. He spent several years working for a multi-national law firm in Washington, DC before bringing his talents back to the Midwest.

Josh has experience in a wide variety of legal areas, but his true passion lies in helping injured people and their families. He works hard to get justice for people who have been treated unfairly. One of his proudest accomplishments so far was representing more than 80 employees of a nursing home get back wages they were owed.

In his spare time, Josh is active in the Bloomington-Normal community and is a proud husband and father. Oh, and he’s also a heck of a chess player. So, don’t say we didn’t warn you if he challenges you to a “friendly” game.

Did You Know?

Josh attended the University of Illinois College of Law where he served as an Associate Editor of the University of Illinois Law Review. He also was elected Student Body President and used his time in office to create the Legacy of Learning and Service Scholarship. This program has provided hundreds of students with scholarships for each year that they participate in community service. The endowment of the scholarship has now reached nearly $15 million!
